IKEA's Easter PASKBORD Buffet

It's Friday.  It's Friday.  The end of the week is here.

Tonight we are attending IKEA's traditional Swedish Easter Smorgasborg buffet here in Atlanta.  It's called the PASKBORD.  This annual buffet celebrates spring and the Easter holiday.  Guests will enjoy a traditional meal of classic Swedish food.  The menu will include Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes, smoked salmon, Swedish ham, and cheeses.  I love their meatballs so I definitely looking forward to those.  I'll be sure to leave room for assorted desserts and beverages to top it all off.

The event is from 6:00-8:00 pm at IKEA locations across the country.  The ticket cost is $16.99 per person and $4.99 for kids 12 and under.  IKEA FAMILY members only pay $12.99 per person and $2.99 for kids 12 and under.  If you are not an IKEA FAMILY member, you can sign up in-store or online.  Becoming a member gets you perks like discounts and and sneak previews.

For those of you that cannot attend, you can still enjoy some of the Swedish food in your home.  You can purchase many of the items that will be included in the PASKBORD, like the famous meatballs, at the Swedish Food Market in IKEA stores.

"Food is a staple for celebrating with family and friends." - Patricia Meumann, Ikea Food Manager

I would love to know if you plan on attending.  I'd love to meet you!
